Our Mission
We are the home of the free because of the brave. This is something Serve & Salute founder Emily knows intimately as a military child. Volunteering with a host of organizations supporting her community and the military community at-large, Emily wanted to do even more to bring awareness to the sacrifices our soldiers and veterans have made for our freedom.
Founded in 2019, Serve & Salute is a movement designed to help young people become more involved in their communities through service initiatives honoring military personnel.
Serve & Salute will both bring service opportunities into the classroom and to youth groups through a story reading and small service project as well as be a presence assisting with organizations such as the USO, Operation Welcome Home, and Honor Flight DC.
